Maggie has been focusing on making collages with scavenged pieces of paper and other painted papers with the specific intention of tearing and cutting it for the work. She doesn’t start with a particular image in mind but finds herself playing around until something emerges that strikes a chord for her. It is very time consuming in terms of making decisions and committing to a particular arrangement but it suits her as she grapples with a great loss.
