The landscapes of Southeast London, the Drome (France) and the English coast form the main themes of Olivia’s work. She often focuses on architectural and structural forms of the city around her. Her paintings emerge through on- and off-site sketchbook drawings and paintings and still and moving digital images. Sketches use charcoal, ink, acrylic, watercolour or pastels.
Her work is mostly on paper. Within individual works or series, she tends to use a narrow palette, drawing on a wide range of tools and techniques to develop textures and layers.
Olivia was elected as a member of the Royal Watercolour Society in 2022 and exhibits regularly with them at their Bankside Gallery.
