UPCOMING EXHIBITION
The 2024 annual show from the Holborn Group, New Directions, is a celebration of the 10 years since the founding members first met on the City Lit Fine Art Course. An eclectic group using drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles and sculpture as their tools, each artist brings unique ideas and approaches to the creative process, engaging with a diversity of themes and media.
The works explore new directions in response to our times, prompted by perceptions of contemporary life, urban and rural landscapes, social and political issues, or the intimacy of a portrait. In a world that seems increasingly fractured, the simple fact of constancy, of mutual support and exhibiting consistently over a decade becomes a radical act in itself.
New Directions presents the evolving fascinations and motivations of the Holborn Group.
