Our exhibition Works on Paper 2019 opened on June 4, with a well attended  private view and many enthusiastic comments from our first week’s visitors.

It’s all go for the Holborn Group, as we get ready for our next exhibition Works on Paper 2019. It will be held at the R.K. Burt Gallery, 57-61 Union Street London SE1 1SG from June 4 until June 13 from 10-5.
(Please note that the gallery is closed on Saturday and Sunday 8 and 9 June)

The private view is on Tuesday June 4 from 5:30-8pm.

Urban Dreams and future plans

Urban Dreams: opening night and private view

The opening night of our Urban Dreams exhibition in the beautiful space of The Gallery, was a great success, with large numbers of appreciative visitors. It was our first exhibition on a common theme, and participating artists used a variety of media, including photography, painting, collage and mixed media, to develop individual responses to the urban environment.

Future Plans

We have two exhibitions planned for 2019.  The first will be at the R.K. Burt Gallery, Southwark, in the first two weeks in June, [now confirmed as 4-13 June – see latest news entry above] and the second at Lauderdale House, Highgate, in the last two weeks of July. OUR LAST EXHIBITION

Our previous exhibition at R.K. Burt Gallery was a great success, with a packed-out private view, and a steady flow of visitors during the fortnight it was open.

Exhibition hanging day

Monday was installation day for the Holborn Group. All fifteen of us met at R K Burt & Co Gallery in SE1 in the morning to draw lots on who would hang where. Fuelled by coffee from The Gentlemen Baristas next door we got to work! You can see some pictures from the day with captions below.
