Last summer’s Divergent Visions exhibition at Lauderdale House Gallery was a great success, and we look forward to exhibiting there again in the future. Thanks to everyone who came along and told us how much they appreciated both the work and the venue.

Our next confirmed show will be at the Gallery, 77 Cowcross Street, London EC1 from 7-18th September 2020. This will be a private exhibition, open to the general public for one night only, so make a note in your diaries for the evening of 9th September!  More details about that, here and in our newsletter, nearer the time.

Award Winner

Congratulations to Holborn Group member Olivia O’Sullivan, who has won the Royal Watercolour Society Award for her painting Fading light, New Cross SE14, in the RWS 2019 Contemporary Watercolour Competition.

The RWS Contemporary Watercolour Competition is on show at the Bankside Gallery next to Tate Modern from 8 -20 March 2019 from 11-6 daily.

Exhibition hanging day

Monday was installation day for the Holborn Group. All fifteen of us met at R K Burt & Co Gallery in SE1 in the morning to draw lots on who would hang where. Fuelled by coffee from The Gentlemen Baristas next door we got to work! You can see some pictures from the day with captions below.

RWS competition
