Lizzie continues to be interested in exploring our emotional responses to colour; and how varying hues of colours, of light and shade, of density and space, evoke different feelings in each of us, from being energised, to reflectiveness and restfulness.
Her work combines colour flows to create areas of density, coupled with alternate spaces that allow the mind to pause for thought and drift. Current favoured materials include found objects, canvas, cloth, ink, chalk, graphite, acrylic and oil paints.
